The generator for the sixth unit I CJOOO k.w.) has reached the Power i House at Lake Coleridge and, as the I foundations are all ready to receive it, a start will be made immediately with the installation of the generating machinery. The reconstruction of the transmission lines, necessitated by the approaching increased output from the power station of 12,000 k.w., and in anticipation of the duplication of the generating plant, is proceeding. Respecting the duplication of the present works at Lake Coleridge, the necessary surveys for the contour of the second tunnel have been carried out and specifications for the work should lie nvailable in a few ; weeks.
