ASHBURTON WINTER SHOW.

The 'fifth Ashburton combined winter show of the Agricultural and Pastoral Society, held on Friday and Saturday, proved most successful from all points of view. The entries totalled 10(13 as against 1011 last year, and tlm exhibits wore all of a high order of merit. The show was formally o(S’iied on Friday afternoon by (he Minister of Lands, who also visii■od it on (ho same evening.
