GERALDINE LIVE STOCK SALE.
Owing to the harvest operations being is full swing the attendance at the Geraldine live stock sale yesterday was not as large ai usual, but those who were present meant business, and the result was that almost the whole of the yarding changed hands under the hammer. The most noticeable improvement in prices was in lambs and wethers. There . was a small yarding of cattle and only a few pigs. Store wethers sold, at from lls 3d to 13s 3d, fat ewes 9s to 9s Id,, old ewes 5s 9d, cull merino ewes 2s 5d to 3s 7d, store lambs 8s 6d; Ss 9d, 9s 4d,} 9s 9d, 10s, 10s 3d, lOd 7d, to 11s 6d, two-tooth wethers 12s 4d to 14s 7d, four and six tooth wethers, 14s lid, 4,6, and 8-tooth ewes 12s Id to 12s (id ;i six-tooth |-bred ewes Ms 7d; Cattle.—Springing cows £8 ss, cows in profit £6 2s 6d„ 18-month-old heifers £3, fat cows £7.
