Indigestion arid Biliousness.

CLEMENTS TONIC SUCCEEDS. The Case of Mrs. M. A CADE.

[By a Special).

No. 58, Park-road, Addington, is the residence of Mrs. Mary Ann Cade, who recently verified certain extraordinary statements which had arested the atten. tion of a special writer. In answer to the reporter's question as to the nature of her remarkable experiences, Mrs..Cade said: " The doctor told me I was suffering from indigestion and biliousness. I was really in a very perilous condition, and suffered enough torture to last me a lifetime. I thought I would never get over my sickness, in view of tne fact that so many complications set in, and the doctor's medicines were inoperative." " Can you describe your several ailments, Mrs. Cade?" " I should rather think so. Abominable stabbing pains came between my shoulders, and I was likewise afflicted in the lower part of my right side. When I had eaten a few mouthfuls of food my stomach felt as if it were overloaded, and immediately followed eructations of wind. The wind moved backwards and forwards, causing terrible paroxysms of agony, besides promoting an unnatural quick beating of my heart. These indications of disease frightened me considerably, and I had still greater reason to feel alarmed when I noticed my face become a deathly white, and my lips almost colorless. I was always drowsy and dejected, feeling as though there was nothing in the world for me to think about. For a while I could sleep fairly well, although I was troubled with nasty dreams, and never experienced any benefit from the slumber I obtained. In course of time, 'however, 1 found it more difficult to get to sleep, being kept awake many a long night through, by anxious forebodings and bodily torment. Sometimes the dreams were so dreadfully repulsive that I suddenly jiwoke from them, and lay in a state of doubt as to whether they were real or not. I was exceedingly nervous and excitable, the most simple thing setting me in a frenzy of terror." " How did your strength keep up under the strain?" "It soon faded out of existence. Weakness became so pronounced that I could not raise a chair without considerably exerting myself. If I sat down all day I still felt fatigued and weary ; but I could not rest always. 1 had several attempts at doing a little work, the result being that I was soon completely prostrated with the effort, besides having agonising pains darting through my limbs, and I could not stand up straight. I was further weakened by periodical attacks of neuralgia. Terribly acute pains darted through my temples and worked up _to the top ol my head. These maddening pains often lasted, without a moment's respite, foi a week at a stretch. My body was now as thin as a skeleton. My medioa! adviser said I would get rid of the neuralgia when I regained my strength. If I had to wait till then I would have gone mad, because his medicines did not strengthen me in the least. I then tried several medicines, which I saw advertised, but they, too, failed to afford relief. Despondency beyond measure fell upon me. Then a small booklet was handed to me one day, containing some marvellous cures resulting from the use of Clements Tonic, I ascertained that they were tiue, and then started on a course myself. That was the turning point in my career, for I gradually gained an all-round improvement in my health. Considering the non-success ol my doctor's and other medicines, it is really astounding how quickly Clements Tonic cured my complaints. First, my nerves were toned up, and the neuralgia was put under. Then my appetite came back in conjunction with the great reviver—sleep. The sick headaches and body pains departed one by one, leaving my limbs lithe and active. A tinge of red came into my cheeks, and I threw off that distressing feeling of despondency. Having the right physic a\ last I persevered with it till there was not a trouble of any sort uncouquered. Neuralgia never affects me now, and my diseased liver was made healthy and sound by Clements Tonic." " May your statements appear• in print?" "Yes. Many people may benefit thereby, so you can publish these facts in any way you like."
