GERALDINE DOMAIN BOARD.
The above board met on Tuesday evening. Present Messrs A. White (chairman), W. S. Maslin, 11. Taylor, G. Ward, and J. J. McCoskey. i’OOTIIALL GROUND. Messrs J. Slattery aud Goro waited ou tho board as a deputation from the Geraldine Football Club asking tho board to assist tho club in obtaining a football ground. There was a prospect of the club being a strong one this year, but they found it very difficult to find a suitable ground. The board decided that tho club bo permitted to play on the board’s reserve near the Bomau Catholic Church, the club to put tho grouud in order at its own expense. OVERSEER'S REPORT. Tho overseer reported as under: — “ 1 went round the bush park fence, aud found GO posts rotten and broken off. I got Mr Crafar, with his horse and dray, to cart rouud GO new posts from the yard to replace them. It took six hours’ work. 1 have had Mr Lord 3 days and 4 hours taking out the rotten ones aud fixing up tho now ones. There are also a great many staples gone. “ B. Annan, “ Overseer.” ACCOUNTS. Accounts, amounting to £G 4s, wore passed for payment. Tho board thou rose.
