A public meeting of the mbicribere to the Waitohi Flat Library wae held in the eohoolroom on Toeiday erening last. Thera wai a fair attendance, and Hr J. Fraier toek the ehair. After some discussion the report was, on the motion of Mr Ihos. Talbot, seconded by Mr D. Cunningham, unanimously adopted. AinnTAli SXTBSOBIPTION. The annual subscription was then fully discussed. Mr T. Orr proposed and Mr Soott seconded —“ That the annual subscription should be Is per member.” Mr Moore proposed as an amendment, and Mr O’Neill seconded "That the annual subscription should be 2s per member, but where there were more than two subscribers in one family the subscription for the 3rd and 4th, etc., be Is. Mr Thornley propoisd as a further amendment—“ That the subscription remain as it is,” seconded by Mr Bedpath. Mr Talbot proposed and Mr Body seconded —" That the annual subscription be 2s per member,” On the amendments being severally put to the meeting Mr Talbot’s was carried. BLHOTXOir or coitmittek. The election of a Oommittte for the ensuing year was then proceeded with, when Messrs J. Fraser, M. Moore, J. McKinnon, L. Scott, Thos. Orr, B. O’Neill, T. Talbot, B. Bedpath, Thos. Thornley, D. Cunningham, GK Anderson, E. Body, Jas. Orr, and J. Watson, were duly elected. This being all the business the public meeting terminated. CoimiTTßi Misting.
