RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
Gbbaidinb—Mokdat, Oct. 18, 1886. [Before H. C. S. Baddeley, Esq., R.M., the Rev. G. Barclay and Dr Fish, and H. W. Moora and A. H. Brisco, Eiqs., J.P.'s. CIVIL CASES. Judgment by default was given in the cases of _,, . R. H. Pearpoint v. J. Goodwin—Claim £8 Is 4d, The name v. Miss Goodwin—Claim £ll7eßd. nn^n J. Riordan v. R. McKay—Claim £3 10s. In the case of T. Tiison v. J. JoeClaim £l3 6s, judgment summons, no order was made. ASSAULTS. A case of this nature, in which a man named Crocker sued a man named Armstrong, was adjourDed. A, Metcalf was charged with having assaulted Henry Collier.—The case was dismissed. J. Tindall was charged with having assaulted H, P. Jones, and the latter was charged with disorderly conduct in a licensed house. The case against Tindnll was dismissed, and Jones was fiaed 40a and costs. A full report will appear in our next.
