At the Addington yards on Wednesday Eat stock in good supply ; store stock only sent forward in small numbers ; the attendance of buyers was hardly up to average. Fat cattle—Taken all through, the quality was slightly above the average. The sale began to a very limited attendance of the trade (In fad, it appears to begin about an hour to early), and things were dull in the extreme, aod, on the whole, late values were barely sustained. Fat lambs—A large number yarded, prices ranging from 4s to 6s 9d per head. Store shesp—Not a great number yarded ; very dull demand shown. Prices, if anything, a shade lower than late quotations. A line of two-tooth ewes sold at 5s per head ; aged ewes 3s Id, and a line of cui! merino ewes Is 7d. Store cattle- -A very small entry ; business without quotable change. Pigs—A large entry, principally stores ; demand showed a further slight improvement; porkers from 18s to 255; stores 8s to 18s per head.
