London, Dec. lj). Forty Servian cowards have been phot for having resorted to self-mutilation, in order to prevent their taking pajt in engagements. It is expected that the war between Bulgaria and Servia will be.resumed. Dec. 13. Both Bulgaria and Servia bavy invoked the aid of the European Pcjwers with a view to effecting a settlement of hostilities between the- two countries, and the Powers have appointed Commissioners to demarcate a zone dividing their territories and to arrange aifour weeks’ armistice. Despite this, however, King Milan reports officially to the Powers that the Bulgarian troop* made an attack on the Servian ontposts yesterday. Accounts of the .engagement further state that, after severe fighting, the Servians dislodged l , the Bulgarians frppi their position at Vgbkazvor, killing end wounding man|f of their number.
The Times this morning states that Russia, Austria, and Germany •hays agreed to abandon the demand recently formulated.by them for the restoration of the status quo ante in the Balkan Peninsula. : ;
