Tahuna Park Welter Handicap, of 100 sovs, with a sweepstakes of 2 sovs each; the amount accruing from tin sweep to go to the second horse ; seven furlongs- Rubezahl, ] ; Tit Bits aod Don Jose, tied for second place. A protest entered oy Boyle against Tit Bits in the Maiden Plate, (run on the first day) on the grounds of a jostle witii Vauity Fair, was considered on Monday
afternoon, with the result that Tit Bits was disqualified, his rider (Stratford) reprimanded and the stakes given to Vanit/ Fair.
