Melbourne, Nov. 30. The second trial of Mr Joseph Symes, editor of the Liberator, which was rendered necessary by the non-agreement of the jury at the first trial, took place to-day. The defendant was charged with taking money at the doors of his lecture-room on Sunday evenings. The jury were again unable to agree, and were accordingly discharged. Dec. 1.
