Sir, —I find that a report is beiD£ industriously circulated about Geraldine to the effect that I am only coming forword at this election v/it/i the object of splitting up the votes, i;i order to secure the return of one of the candidates. Allow me, sir, to «iv<? this report an emphatic denial, and to assure those electors who may not have attended my meeting, tint I come forward on my own account ; that I mean to contest this election to the end ; and that I.have every reason to believe that I shall win.—l am, etc., Francis Franks.
