•B REPRESENTATIVE MATCH. —■ f NORTH TO PLAY SOUTH TEAM. The B representative team to represent • North Taranaki v. South Taranaki at Hawera on Boxing Day stands as originally selected by Mr. W. Beard. The team is as follows:— A. Clarke, captain (New Plymouth). E. Webber (New Plymouth),. W. Purcell (New Plymouth). H. South (New Plymouth). L. Wiseman (New Plymouth). R. Gilmore (Waitara). Rev. Carr (Waitara). C. Robertson (Western Park). Woods (Western Park). D. Morris (Old Boys). Richards (Old Boys). Rosser (Western Park) is 12th. man. The team will assemble at the New Plymouth Post Office at 8.15 a.m. » i. - ; HOLIDAY CRICKET FIXTURES? CHRISTMAS , AND BOXING DAY. A two-day match beginning on Christmas'Day at 2 p.m. and starting at the same time on Boxing Day will be played between the senior colts and a combined team consisting of country .representatives and prominent town players at Pukekura Park, New Plymouth. The colts’ side includes three players who have already taken part in Hawke Cup cricket and several young players who have figured prominently in senior matches. The opposing side has five Hawke Cup representatives and the majority of the others have played for North Taranaki. The fixture therefore should provide an excellent holiday entertainment for cricket enthusiasts.
