Sydney, Dec. 22. i Sensational spills occurred at Saturday night’s dirt track championships between Australia and England. Frank Elms, aged 24 years, a Queensland rider, was killed, while Billy Lamont, aged 23 years, who ran over Elms, crashed and fractured his nose and received concussion. A number of spectators suffered minor injuries. Elms was leading Lamont when Elms’ machine collided with a fence. The Australian team in the first test match decisively beat England by 47 points to 25.
