FINE, WARM WEATHER
LIGHT, VARIABLE WINDS By Telegraph—Press Wellington, Last Night. Scattered, light to moderate rains are probable on the west coast of the South Island and in parts of Otago and Canterbury, but the weather for the most part will be fair to fine and warm, says the 4 p.m. forecast. Pressure remains fairly high over New Zealand. The cyclone in the western Tasman Sea has moved slowly southward and is apparently filling up. Winds will be variable, with light to moderate north easterlies or northerlies predominating. Seas will be slight or moderate. 1
