TJpHE Taranaki Daily News will NOT be published on Christmas Day (December 25), nor on New Year’s Day (January 1), but will be published as usual on Boxing Day (December 26) and January 2. Correspondents and advertisers are asked to note that Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day are post office holidays, and no .mails will be handled by the post office on those days. News or advertisements for the issues of December 26, December 27 and January 2 must therefore, if forwarded on the day before issue, be sent by means other than through the post.
