Those present were Mesdames R. Strachan, B. Bellringer, H, von Sturmer, W. Shaw, R. Carryer, E. Gaw, Ebbett and Bodie. Wearing a smart frock of midnight blue satin, Mrs. ,E. C. A- Gaw . was hostess at an afternoon for her friends during the week. Her drawing room was arranged with bowls of blush pink roses, pink and white daisies and Australian mint. Bowls and vases of pink pearl rhododendrons and pmk roses tastefully arranged with foliage made Phasing decorations in the drawing room of Mrs, E, Rutherford on Thursday night, when she was hostess for four tables of bridge, The prize for the highest score was,won by Miss Molly Lyons and the consolation prize went to Miss C. Uniacke, Mrs. Rutherfurd to receive her. guests was wearing a gown of cherry silk lace with a gold lame bridge coat, Those present included Mesdames N. Douglas, T. Urwin, W. Farquarson, H. Graham, c.
