Mrs. J. Elliott is visiting Nelson. Miss Mabel Carter returned from Dunedin on Wednesday.
Mrs. Guthrie was hostess at bridge on Wednesday afternoon. Her guests- were Mesdames B. Brown, Gay, Riddle, Owen, A. Best, D. Syme and H. I‘. Wills. A prize for the highest score was won by Mrs. Gay and a consolation prize by Mrs. B. Brown.
Mesdames A. T. Tiplady, C. White, R. Darling, B. Brown, M. Kebble, W. Langston, R, H. Gover and Gay were Mrs. B. H. Goldsmith’s guests at bridge on Thursday afternoon. Prizewinners were Mrs. Brown and Mrs. Gay.
