FIRST OF ANNUAL EVENTS. The first annual dance of the Sentry Hill Golf Club was held in the Lepperton hall on Wednesday night. About 60 couples were present and, although the attendance was not up to expectations, the event was enjoyable. Barton (Te Kuiti) and Mr. J. Ellis (Waitara). A lucky island waltz was won by Mr. J. Mischeski and partner. The women’s committee in charge oi the supper arrangements was: Mesdames F. Sampson, N. Sampson and Puke, and Miss L. Gorrie (secretary). The masters of ceremonies were Messrs. F. Trueman and A. Sampson.
