THROWN UNDER TRAM
YOUNG CYCLISTS IN COLLISION. ALL IN CRITICAL CONDITION. By Telegraph—Press Association. , Auckland, Oct 31. Following a' collision at 8 o’clock this morning between a motor-cycle arid cycle in Pitt Street George Reynolds, aged 25, single, the motor-cyclist, and Eric Anderson, aged 20, pillion rider, were thrown under the wheels of a moving tram-car. Both were taken to hospital, the former suffering from critical head injuries. The , latter, who suffered head injuries and a fractured arm and leg, is in a very serious condition. The cyclist, William Rowland Lovatt, aged 15, struck the side of the tram-car. He is suffering from head injuries and concussion, and his condition is fairly serious.
