MANGAMINGI AND RAWHITIROA. The annual cricket match played between Rawhitiroa and Mangamingi resulted in a win for Mangamingi by 72 runs to 43. The top scorer for Mangamingi was P. A cricket match between the Kaponga Thursday team and a team from Mahoe was played at Kaponga at the weekend Batting first, Mahoe scored 78, E. Burrows, 32, being the chief run-getter. Bowling for Kaponga K. Albon took three wickets for 23, R. Cuff three for 10 and V. Evans one for 12. Kaponga’s innings netted 124.
