VIKING WINS THE FLYING DARING DEED TAKES FAREWELL. GOOD TOTALISATOR INCREASE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Gore, Last Night. The Gore Racing Club’s spring meeting concluded in fine weather with a fair attendance for an off day to-day. The track was in excellent order. The totalisator handled £BB7O for the day, against £7942 10s on the second day last year, making £23,701 for the meeting, compared with £21,864 last year. An investigation was held into the fall of Osculate in tire Waikaka Handicap. It was found to be purely accidental. Results were:— MANDEVILLE HIGHWEIGHT. Of £l2O.
