EXPORTS SLIGHTLY BIGGER.

Overseas trade figures, excluding specie, for the month of September, 1935, in New Zealand currency show exports cf £2,690,000 and imports of £3,169,000, an excess of £479,000. For September, 1934, they were £2,447,000, £2,543,000 and £96 000 respectively, and for September, 1933’ £2,173,000, £2,525,000 and £352,000 respectively. For the nine-monthly period ended September 30, 1935, exports were £35,893,000 and imports £26,456,000, giving an excess of exports of £9,437,000. For the similar period of 1934 they were £39,877,000 and £22,386,000, with an excess of exports amounting to £17,491,000. For the same period of 1933 exports were £31,453,000 and imports £18,992,000, with an excess of exports of £12,551,000.
