DEATH FROM SCALDS
CHILD’S ARM IN BOILING WATER.
ACCIDENT VERDICT AT INQUEST.

The death occurred on Friday in the Waikato Hospital of Joy Glenise Hagan, the 2J-year-old child of Frederick Hagan, Raglan, as the result of scalds received at her home on the previous Sunday. The child fell across a benzine tin of boiling water which was used for a bath, and her arm was immersed. She was admitted to hospital on the day of the accident. A verdict of accidental death was returned at the inquest.
