Miss Oliver Key, Hawera, who played last week in the New Zealand women’s golf tournament, returned to Hawera on Saturday.

MISS GLADYS MONCRIEFF AT CLUB Bowls of flame and gold azalea mollis and a large jardiniere of mixed blooms in tones shading from cyclamen to mauve brightened the large reception room at the Hawera Women’s Club on Thursday night, when Miss Gladys Moncrieff was the principal guest at a supper party given in her honour by the club music circle. The circle convener, Miss Constance Reilly, wearing a model gown of gentian blue, with a spray of was the hostess. Miss Moncrieff wore a lily of the valley clasped in the corsage, magnificent gown of acquarine blue iridescent lame, with short white wrapcoat, lavishly collared and trimmed with white fox fur. With her was Miss Dorothea Ryan, the accompanist with her company, wearing a model gown in black chiffon velvet and medici collared coatee, with touches of oyster satin.
