WIN FOR MRS. DENNES. FITZROY WOMEN’S MEDAL. In the women’s medal match at Fitzroy yesterday, postponed from Wednesday, the winning card was handed in by Mrs. Dennes 99—34—65. The women of the Waverley club held their closing day'On Thursday. A flag match was won by Miss B. Wallis (senr.), Miss M. Alexander (junior) and Mrs. Sheppard (C. division). A putting competition was won by Mrs. F. Johnston, the runner-up being Miss J. Train. Following afternoon tea the annual meeting was held, Mrs. D. Lupton presiding. The winner of a non-handicap competition on Wednesday was Mrs. J. Campbell. WAVERLEY CLUB FINAL PLAYED. INTERMEDIATE CHAMPIONSHIP. The final of the Waverley Golf Club men’s' intermediate championship was played last week-end, J. Grey defeating F. Johnston. In the final of the Cave Cup match I. Parsons beat J. Grey.
