WOUNDED BY BULLET
ACCIDENT TO YOUNG WOMAN. PRACTISING SHOOTING ALONE. By Telegraph—Press Association, Waipufcurau, Sept, 5. Suffering front a bullet wound in' the upper part of the abdomen, inflicted by a .22 ealible rifle. Mrs, R. J* Ashby, a young woman, of Waipawa, was admitted to the Waipuhurau hospital yesterday. She was reported to-day as progressing favourably. - After the occurrence, the injured woman went to a neighbour, advising having accidentally shot herself, and a doctor was summoned. It is understood that Mr- and Mrs. Ashby often practised target shooting at .a range constructed under the house, She was alone at the time of the occurrence,
