RECIPROCAL TRADE
DAIRY BOARD’S BIRMINGHAM SHOP PRAISE BY PARLIAMENTARIANS. High praise of a recent effort by the New Zealand Dairy Board at Birmingham was paid by the four members of the Empire Parliamentary delegation during a visit. Following the success of the reciprocal trade shop at Nottingham some months ago, the board’s London office decided to concentrate upon a similar effort at Birmingham. . The board was fortunate in securing the co-operation of many of the leading manufacturers and an excellent display of New Zealand produce and Birmingham manufactures resulted. Many thousands visited the shop, special interest attaching to the visit of the members of the Empire Parliamentary delegation, the HopMark Fagan and Messrs. H. G. Dickie, P Fraser and W. A. Bodkin, Ms.P. After seeing the exhibits they expressed delight at the nature of the enterprise and said they were surprised at the quality of the board’s advertising work in the United Kingdom. The members of the delegation will be returning to New Zealand during the next few weeks.
