FUNDS FOR INSTITUTE
TARIKI FLAG FIVE HUNDRED. The final flag five hundred evening of the Tariki Women’s Institute was held on Saturday, a pleasant time being spent. The winning table was occupied by the Misses R. Mcllroy and O. James and Mr. Leo Butler and A. Kilsby. Most flags were carried by Mrs. Kerr and Mr. J. Duncan. At the consolation prize table were Mrs. Chapman, Miss Letts and Messrs. E. Gladding and S. Hall. Consolation prizes were also awarded Mrs. Geo. Knowles and Mr. S. Hall. The points prizes for the season were won by Mrs. Petch and Mr. T. Wright. Mrs. Kerr, president of the Tariki institute, thanked those who had supported the evenings, which, she said, had been successful both socially and financially. Supper was served by the members.
