PERSONAL AND GENERAL ITEMS. Prize-winners at the weekly flag five hundred and ’bridge evening in the Otangiwai hall were Mrs. L. S. Fauchelle and Messrs. W. H. Lyon and J. Cavaney with 23 flags. Consolation prizes were. won by Mrs. E. C. Thoirias and Messrs. L. Cribb and W. Raitt. Mr. B. Wildbore conducted the tournament. At the weekly euchre party and dance in the Niho Niho hall on Saturday evening Mrs. R. Weinberg and Mr. F. Dougherty won the prizes; Mr. T. Bell provided the music for the dancing and My. P. Field acted as master of ceremonies. Mr. and Mrs. A. McDougall have returned to Otangiwai from a short visit to Feilding. Miss Woulfe, Cambridge, is the guest of Mrs. O’Donnell, Matiere. Mrs. J. Chapman, Fordell, is the guest of Mrs. M. Hannan, “Les Moyle,” Maticro. Mrs Rhynd, Matiere, is visiting Wellington. Miss Daphne Greenwood, Huntly, is staying with Mrs. O’Donnell, Matiere.. Mrs. L. A. Passau, Waikaka, is staying with her mother, Mrs. A. Bradshaw, Matiere. . Mr. A. Sampson, Lepperton, is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. H. Hayward, Tuhua. ... Mrs. T. Taylor.
