The recent decision by the Egmont County Council including special loans in a general loan conversion Is still being strongly opposed by a section of the ratepayers, and a movement is on foot to have the matter taken to court for • a ruling on the validity or otherwise of the council’s decision. A meeting has been called for the Pihama Hall next Friday night, and as the matter is one of interest to a number cf other counties besides the Egmont County it is expected that the meeting will attract a large attendance.
