EUCHRE PARTY PRIZEWINNERS. A highly successful euchre party and dance was held by the Denbigh Road school ’committee on Friday.; Visitors were present from Inglewood, Waipuku, Midhirst, Radnor Road, Stratford arid Ngaere and the school was filled to capacity. Fifteen tables were occupied and the prizewinners were Miss B. Yandle 1, Miss J. Robkes 2; Mr. J." Cfosby 1, Mr. H. Mills ,2. Mr. J. Yandle, chairman of the srihbbl’cbmmiltee, presented the points prizes to Mrs. Mapp, Radnor Road, arid Miss I. Yandle, who were equal first with 56 points each. . Mr. N.. Mills won tile men’s prize with 56 points arid. Mr. H. Andersen was second. Mrs. Gooch arid Mrs. Yandle were both presented with small gifts in "reebgriitioh of their services in providing the dance . music " for the series. After supper, dancing ‘was enjoyed to music played by Mrs. Gppch (piano) and Mrs. J. Yandle (accordeon). Mt; arid Mrs. P. Walker won a Monte Carlo waltz. Mr. Yandle was in charge, of the euchre and Mr. V-. Carroll of the dancing.
