LIKELY THREE-YEAR-OLD
SUPEREX IMPRESSES Superex created a good impression when he beat all but the much more seasoned Grey Honour in the Cashmere Plate at Riccarton on Tuesday. Superex is a three-year-old by Night Raid from Mazatuko, by Last Dart from Martuko, by Martin from Mazabuka, an imported mare by Chaucer. He is a well-grown colt, with speed, and he is likely to stay, so that his future doings will be watched with. considerable interest. It was from such beginnings that both Phar Lap and Nightmarch, other sons of Night Raid, grew into greatness. Superex is engaged in the Longbeach Hack Handicap, and he is likely to carry good support.
