WOMEN’S DIVISION
Whenuakura: The membership was increased by four at the monthly meeting on Wednesday, Mesdames E. Hurley, W. and Misses M. Parsons and E. Kiihfuss being enrolled and welcomed by the president, Mrs. J. A. Wither. In a competition for an article made from two skeins of wbol Mrs. Wither won Mrs. A. G. Crawford’s trophy. Mesdames Harvey and J. Prout secured second and third places. A talk on the agenda dealt with at the recent conference was given by Mrs. W. E. Tayler, president of the Alton-Kakaramea branch. The hostesses were Mesdames F. and W. Parsons and Miss R. Honeyfield.
