RAWHITIROA NEWS
WELCOME HOME GATHERING. An evening was given recently to Mr. and Mrs. T. Robinson to welcome them home to Rawhitiroa after their marriage. A presentation of a set of carvers was made by the residents, Mr. Alex Baker expressing good wishes. The evening was spent in dancing, the music being played by Mrs. Darcy May and Miss P. O’Connor. Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Robinson and Mr. L. Robertson, who have been visiting Mapiu, Taumarunui, have returned to Rawhitiroa. Mrs. J. Gemhoefer, who has been visiting her mother, Mrs. T. H. Robinson, has returned to Mapiu. Mrs. D. Knuckey will return from Wellington this week-end.
