TRUCK DERAILED
NO VISIBLE CAUSE OF MISHAP. SERVICE NOT INTERRUPTED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Hastings, Aug. 16. One truck -of the Wellington-Napier goods train which reaches Napier early in the, morning was derailed this morning on a loop about 100 yards on the south side of Longlands flag station, two miles south of Hastings. There was evidently no obstruction on the line and the cause of the mishap has not yet been ascertained. Fortunately the truck fell on the side away from the duplicate line, so that the Napier-Wellington express was able to pass without delay. Neither the truck nor the line . was damaged except to a trifling extent. It took some hours to right the truck.
