PEN-FRIENDS’ CORNER
A pen-friend between 12 and 14 years of age, who is fond of sewing, knitting, tennis and basketball, is wanted please for Hazel Werner, Rowan Road, Rowan, Taranaki. Iris Herbert, Korito, Taranaki, would like a pen-friend please, about 12 or 13 years of age, who is fond of reading and swimming. OUR SUNSHINE CORNER. More sunshine squares again this week! We shall have a record number soon. Ron Aubrey, Stratford, sent three. Jack Murphy, Egmont Village, sent two. Sheila Kerrisk, Kakaramea, sent two. Maragaret Adam, Tirimoana, sent one. Altogether 77 squares have been sent in now, Howard Hayloek, Okato, sent some cigarette cards to be kept in the cupboard till Christmas time.
