WOMEN’S DIVISION
Hawera: Vases of spring flowers were arranged around the sitting room when Mrs. Gomer gave a flag five hundred afternoon on Thursday for the funds. Mrs. Gomer wore a frock of black satin trimmed with white. She was assisted by her daughter, Mrs. Jones, who chose a frock of blue floral crepe de chine. Prizes were won by Mesdames Meuli, Smart, Coad, Miss O'Brien and Mrs. A. Russell (consolation). Songs were sung by Mrs. Lo wand Miss Jean O’Brien. Mrs.. Corkill played a- pianoforte solo.-
