Mrs. Leich, Wellington, is visiting her mother, Mrs, C. Edwards. Mrs. J. Petersen and Miss Betty Petersen entertained a number of friends at an afternoon at their residence on Monday. The guests included Mesdames R. S. Crawford, R.' M. Stevens, S. G. Davidson, G. I; Paterson, M. A. Pearce, Coyte, C. V. Herbert, Miss . Pearce and'Miss Davidson. ' Mrs. C. P. Lord is the guest of Mrs. P. W. Tong, Okaiawa. Mrs. Lord wiU leave at the week-end for Putaruru, where she will visit her daughter, Mrs. L. A. Watts. .
