BREACH OF PROBATION
AUSTRALIAN YOUTH REMANDED. Charged with failing to comply with the terms of his probation order, Joseph Norman Cottle, aged 20, described as an Australian, appeared before Mr. W. H. Woodward, S.M., in the New Plymouth Magistrate's Court yesterday. On the application of the police he was remanded until Monday. The alleged offence occurred at Auckland oh July 9. In making application for the remand, Senior-Sergeant E. T. C. Turner said he understood another charge was pending, and it might be necessary to ask for a further remand to Auckland.
