LOWER GRADE RUGBY
SOUTH FIXTURES AND REFEREES. Following are the fixtures and referees for to-morrow’s lower grade Rugby in South Taranaki:— Junior: Patea B v. Hawera B at Hawera, 2.45 p.m., Mr. J. France; Hawera A v. Patea A at Patea, 2.45 p.m., Mr. A. Spratt;; Kaponga v. Waimate at Kaponga, 2.45 p.m., Mr. L. Wills; Normanby v. Okaiawa at Okaiawa, 1.15 p.m., Mr. A. Guy. Fourth grade: Waimate v. Okaiawa at Okaiawa (school ground), 115 p.m., Mr. P. Rangi; High School v. Elthain at Eltham, Mr. F. Briscoe. Kaponga and Hawefa both have a bye, due to the fact that Okaiawa B has withdrawn from the competition.
A change has been made in the referee for the Opunake-Hawera senior game, Mr. A. McDermott talcing the place of Mr. A. Spratt.
The junior game at Patea to-day, where Patea A will meet Hawera A, will virtually decide the winner of the South Taranaki championships and Gibson banner.
