PBISONEBS AT WELLINGTON. CHIEF JUSTICE ON THE BENCH. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, July 26. Prisoners sentenced in the Supreme Court by the Chief Justice, Sir Michael Myers, were:— Norman Williams, breaking, entering and theft, 18 months’ imprisonment. Albert Kearns, false pretences by a valueless cheque, two years’ hard labour. James Hopkins, aged 44, , assault and robbery while armed, dive years’ imprisonment. Henry Horace Smith, breaking and entering at Miramar, reformative detention for one year. Samuel Jamieson McKee, breaking and entering the premises o’f New Zealand Fisheries Ltd., reformative detention, two years.
