Mrs. R. Ritchie spent a few days at Dannevirke this week.

Mrs. J. P. Burton returned to Opunoke on Thursday, after spending a holiday of three weeks at Christchurch and Wellington.

An enjoyable bridge and crib party was held for the croquet club funds on Thursday evening. Prizes were won by Mrs. W. Sharp, Mr. G. Hammond Mr. R. Ritchie. Mrs. Jenkin thanked Mr, D. Plat for the use of his room and for providing supper. Mesdames J. A. Stevenson, Griffin, Laing, W. R. Conaglen and R. J. Morris, who visited Wanganui for the Plunket Society conference, returned to QpUnake during the week-end.
