POLICY OUTLINED
LABOUR MEMBER’S ADDRESS. VISIT TO NEW PLYMOUTH. Enthusiastically received by a large audience at the Workers’ Social Hall, New Plymouth, last night, the Rev. Clyde Carr, Labour member for Timaru, outlined his party’s policy as in other addresses on his tour of the North Island with particular reference to banking reforms and education.
Mr. Carr admitted the flexibility of Labour’s policy and stressed the importance Of encouraging secondary industries to absorb unemployment and permit renewed immigration. Mr. P. E. Stainton was chairman,
