MUNICIPAL CONTROL
DESIRE OF MILK ROUNDSMEN. OBJECTION TO EARLY STARTING. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. Opposition to a 2 a.m. start for milk roundsmen, advocacy of a six-day week and approval of municipal control of milk sales were expressed by a deputation from the Auckland Dairy Employees Union which waited on the Metropolitan Milk Council to-day. It was stated that the- union was unanimously in favour of municipal control of the selling of milk. If the milk council or some other board took over sales on a block delivery system the union would be satisfied.
