WOMEN’S DIVISION
Smart Road: The monthly meeting; at which Mrs. Sorensen presided over a fair attendance, welcomed one new member. Sympathy was extended to Mrs. Gable in the recent illness of her mother. Baby Gable was presented with a babies’ plate, being the division’s second baby. Demonstrations of paper flower and mat making were given by Mrs. Brewster. A competition was won by Mrs. Huggard, tha. prize being given by Miss Whitham. Miss Hawkings, who was a delegate to the girls’ education week, gave an account of her experiences. Tea was served by Mesdames Pearce au4 Brewster.
