VICTORIA LEAGUE
WELL ATTENDED “AT HOME.” More than 40 members were, .present yesterday afternoon at a Victoria League “at home” at'New Plymouth. Mesdames W. H Skinner and M. I. Courtenay were hostesses. . Mr. W. H. Skinner gave a talk on the Taranaki pioneers and related reminiscences of early days in the province. Mrs. B. B. Weller gave a pianoforte solo and Mrs. F. G. Evans recited. A guessing competition for a cake was won by MrS. Skinner.
