PRICES AT ADDINGTON YARDS. GOOD DEMAND FOR STORE SHEEP. Christchurch, July 10. Entries at Addington to-day were smaller than usual except in the fat sheep section, and recent prices were slightly improved. Store sheep: The smallest entry of the season met a good demand for all classes. Wethers made to 20s 6d and ewe lambs to 20s Id. ' Fat sheep: An entry of 3600 met a firm sale throughout, wethers being slightly dearer and ewes a shade easier. Extra prime heavy wethers sold to 32s 4d; prime heavy, 26s to 28s 6d; prime med-ium-weight, 22s to 255; ordinary, 19s to 21s 6d; light to 18s 6d. Extra prime heavy ewes .to 29s lOd; prime heavy, 20s to 22s 6d; prime, 16s 6d to 19s 6d; ordinary, 13s 6d to 16s; light to 13s. Fat cattle: A small entry of 375 head and an advance in values of up to 20s for good steers and 10s for ordinary cattle. One line of eight steers averaged £lO 13s.
