GEESE STRIKE WIRES
ELECTRIC LIGHTS FAILURE. INCIDENT NEAR WHAREHUIA. The flight of a flock of geese into a power line at Beaconsfield Road, Wharehuia, about 5 o’clock last evening caused a failure of the electric supply to the Stratford and Eltham districts. . The contact' caused the line to bum out, but after an interruption of ten minutes power was restored.
