Two new members were welcomed. Major F. W. Sandford, New Plymouth, gave a talk on the early Maoris. Miss D. Simpson proposed a vote of thanks to Major Sandfojd. The jumbled words competition was won by Mrs. Bovett after a tie with Miss Bovett. The hostess was Mrs. Honnor, who was assisted by other members.
